Fite 50- The Fite of the Finalists: A Big Bar Brawl Rematch (Delmond vs. ROB)

Now hear this! Tonight is the night of quite a fite! Almost 4 months ago, the finale of the Big Bar Brawl took place. The Deleter, a Terran Space Marine, lost to the plastic Sintendo accessory ROB in the final part of the brawl. ROB would continue its winning streak as it took on more competitors, helping defeat both the Living Planet Rafflesia and the Lord of the Night, in addition to winning its battle against Saberwulf. The Deleter's track record hasn't been so spectacular since then, getting second in the singing contest and losing to Starscream, but now Deleter has challenged ROB to a rematch. ROB, now without its lightning powers or the distractions of other fiters, must fite Deleter on even ground.

ROB shall be bringing the Lemarchand's Box, a puzzle box capable of accessing other dimensions. ROB hopes to tap into the powers of the Warp dimension through this box to replace its electrical powers it had once received from Teslacorn and Achilles' Eel. Deleter shall be bringing his trusty old rifle, relying on classic firepower to take down the current Fite Yer' Mates champion.

It's time for a rematch folks. ROB and Deleter, it's time to Fite Yer' Mate!
The crowd is roaring for ROB. The little toy had its share of groupies by now, and even if it could not feel emotions, they still loved the little accessory. Deleter got his fair share of cheers, but it was clear a lot of people came to see ROB win another battle. Deleter, irritated by the fan favoritism, shot his rifle in the air to shut them up. ROB sat on the ground calmly, grasping the puzzle box between its two arms.

Gezora, who is totally impartial (but rooting for robot) gives the signal for the fite to begin!

Deleter immediately takes aim and opens fire on the immobile ROB, who is forced to use the Lemarchand's Box to block the bullets. Tiny dents appear in the cube, and ROB begins to try to tap into the energies the box could link it to. Unfortunately for the little robot, no one told the toy that you have to solve the puzzle box to unleash its power, and with no fingers, ROB would have one hell of a time trying to do so.

Deleter casually approached ROB as he continues to open fire. Most of the bullets were blocked by the box, but many tore through ROB, creating tiny holes and exposing wiring. Deleter laughed at how easily he had it, but he noticed something odd as more bullets slammed into the box. The bullets were knocking pieces around, shifting the puzzle box into its proper shape. Dumbfounded by the implausibility of it all, Deleter changes tactics, circling around ROB and opening fire from the sides. ROB, capable of rotating 360 degrees on its base, was able to follow the Deleter's movements, and even though it had to sacrifice parts of its chassis to get the puzzle completed, the deflected bullets soon had the lock puzzle near completion.

Deleter saw this though, and stopped firing. He couldn't allow his opponent to tap into forces similar to those that took him down last time. Deleter decides to walk up to the robot and just grab the toy. Picking the Robotic Operating Buddy up with his free hand, the space marine began pounding the accessory with the butt of his gun. Again though, ROB blocked the blows with the box, and when Deleter tried to pull the block from its grasp, the Sintendo product yanked it away and began smashing it against the glass of the Deleter's helmet.

The Terran dropped the toy, realizing any attack he would try would result in a surprisingly effective block with a puzzle box. Deleter kicked ROB across the arena like a can, at a loss for how he should proceed in the fite. ROB, despite being kicked around, focused on jostling the last bit of the puzzle into place. It was difficult without phalanges, but with some careful hand shifting, the last piece clicked into place. The Lemarchand's Box began to glow, and out of it flowed the energy of the Warp.

Deleter cursed. He had allowed his foe to tap into the power already. The odd energy flowed out of the box and surrounded the toy, causing it to float up into the air. A loud sound like a scream filled the air as the energy flowed out of the box, and the audience looked on in awe, believing that the ROB's former powers have been restored. Deleter, on the other hand, did not respect the drama of the moment, and opened fire on ROB as it floated upwards. If ROB was capable of focusing, it was focused on absorbing the power of the Warp, and its formerly efficient deflection technique was forgotten. The bullets tore into the already weakened body of the Robotic Operating Buddy, and the base was shot clean off by a bullet to the body.
This, of course, got the toy's attention (which Sintendo reminds you ROB is not capable of giving to anything besides approved Sintendo games), and it stopped focusing on its dramatic energy absorption and focused on dramatic energy emission. The energy slammed forward, tearing right through Deleter's shoulder armor and flooring him. Deleter is impressed by the power of the Warp, but he won't show it. He begins opening fire once more with his gun, but the bullets literally melt as they pass through the warpfield.

Deleter curses at his foe's ridiculous strength now that its tapped into the Warp power, but he notices something odd. The plastic chassis of ROB is slowly melting as well. As streams of warp energy flow out and whip at Deleter, the marine does his best to bide his time. His new tactic is to survive until the ROB is a pile of melted plastic, and even as entire chunks of armor are sheared off effortlessly by the unbound power, Deleter still manages a confident chuckle.

The uncontrollable warp energy had already melted ROB's hands to the point they had fused with the Lemarchand's Box. Deleter was taking potshots at ROB as he dodged the warp energy as best he could, putting on a show so that ROB would not catch on to his plan. ROB was beginning to notice a pattern though. Although incapable of suspicion, ROB noticed that Deleter kept performing actions he knew would be fruitless, so either Deleter knew something the robot didn't, or it was a ruse.

ROB decided to attack the dilemma at its source. Rather than lashing towards the entirety of Deleter with strands of Warp energy, ROB formed it into a viscous oblate sphere. The orb of energy flew toward Deleter, who tried his best to outrun it. The marine was not fast enough though, so he decided to duck beneath the energy. Instead of sailing over the marine like a typical projectile, ROB manipulated the orb to float down towards the Terran. It quickly flowed into the man's weapon. Deleter was forced to abandon his rifle as it melted into molten slag.

Another curse slipped past the marine's lips. He was hoping to have his weapon ready for when ROB melted to near uselessness, but now he couldn't even put on a ruse to distract ROB as he waited for the robot to melt. ROB floated towards the marine as a piece of plastic slopped off the side of its head. Deleter grinned, but looked on in horror as a tendril of energy lifted the melted plastic and melded it back in place.

"Well, FUCK!" Deleter again cursed. There goes his other tactic. Warp energy surrounded ROB like an irregularly colored sun, and Deleter stood in his dented and rent armor. His shoulderpads were gone, parts of his chest armor were broken off, his helmet had a gaping hole from an early blow when he still had his gun and a plan. Only his arms and legs had reliable armor on them, and its not like he could punch through the energy and hurt ROB.

Or could he?

Deleter decides to risk it.

Deleter charges toward the tiny floating robot, and beams of the Warp's power fly past his face, trying to skewer the skull. Parts of the helmet are shot clean off, and an ear is lost to the salvo of energy, but Deleter dodges most of the blows and gets in close to ROB.

The Warpfield around the Sintendo product began to work on melting the Deleter's armor, but the space marine reached out with his arms and seized the toy's tinier arms. The armor for his arms had already melt off, and as it began to work on the flesh, the Deleter pulled with all his might to yank the robot's arms out of their sockets.

Deleter falls backwards, gripping the broken robot arm's in bones that barely remained together. All the flesh from his shoulder down had melted, leaving only a bit of muscle and the bones beneath dangling. Although they were useless now, the arms dropped the similarly useless arms of ROB. Deleter crushed them underfoot, severing their attachment to the box.

The warp energy dissipated. ROB lay on the ground. It had no arms, no base, and no weapon. All it had were its shutter shades, which were only good for looking like a badass. Deleter stood above the defenseless robot and lifted his foot up. A scream of horror came from both the crowd and the referee as the still-armored leg of the Deleter came crashing down on the Fite Yer' Mates champion's head.
DOWN GOES ROB! DOWN GOES ROB!!!!

Silence accompanies the KO. And then, suddenly, cheering! Deleter has dethroned ROB and claimed victory!
"A champion has fallen tonight. RIP ROB..."
